‘The Sign Of A Man’ is the new single from electro-freaks The Moonlandingz. It’s a playful, tongue-in-cheek track filled with intensely rigid rhythms and shifting synth sounds, all accompanying the sinisterly whispered voice of Johnny Rocket and the disco-adjacent harmonies that arise during the track’s chorus. The band say: “This is a song about torpor unbound, about the relegation of love into need, about our failure to summon up ‘care’… this is a song about justice.” The Moonlandingz have also revealed their forthcoming album, No Rocket Required, which drops later in the year. -Dan Peeke
